Da Piglio ad Acuto
CategoriaStage
The last stretch is the most enchanting: nine kilometers where you can hear no sound except the singing of birds and the rustle of the wind among the olive trees. The bike path has literally "cut" through the hill, creating a corner of paradise where the only encounters possible are with cyclists or joggers.
The climb becomes more challenging in the last three kilometers before Acuto, but the effort is rewarded by the view of the medieval village that suddenly appears, with its castle and elegant stone portals.
