Cassino Museo
CategoriaFollowing the Via Francigena in the South – which runs parallel to the Via Casilina, towards Cassino and passing through the road named after Santa Scolastica, you reach the National Archaeological Museum “Gianfilippo Carettoni (https://museocarettoni.it/).
In the first room of the museum, prehistoric and protohistoric artifacts are on display. At the entrance, we observe stone materials and finds from such eras. From Cassino, near the locality of Folcara, there is a fragment of an elephant molar, dating back to the Paleolithic.
